In the interview, Meera Chopra acknowledged the prevalent camaraderie among individuals entering the industry simultaneously, with an expectation that mutual support would be a norm. However, she lamented that this was not her experience, and the anticipated support from her cousins never materialized.

Priyanka has consistently been very generous,” Meera Chopra remarked. She went on to share her past experiences of spending considerable time with Priyanka and Parineeti when they were younger, but acknowledged that their dynamics have evolved over the years.

Meera Chopra disclosed that, unfortunately, there has been a prolonged lack of communication with Parineeti’s family, stating, “When families stop talking, I avoid crossing that line to avoid causing any harm to my own family. There was never a familial connection with Parineeti. I maintain a close relationship with Priyanka’s family to this day. However, that sisterly bond seems to be missing, not on my part. I’ve always extended a branch of love, but reciprocation should also be there.”

Earlier in the year, Priyanka Chopra was present at cousin Parineeti Chopra’s engagement ceremony in Delhi in May, although she did not attend the wedding. Priyanka conveyed her warm wishes through an old picture of Parineeti shared on her Instagram Stories, expressing, “I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day, little one. Always wishing you so much love ❤️ #newbeginnings @parineetichopra @raghavchadha88.”
