According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) mandated the inclusion of anti-smoking health advisories at the beginning of the movie. Additionally, the CBFC directed the filmmakers to incorporate these warnings in the middle of the film, just before the start of the second half.

As per the report, a particular word was altered from ‘suitably’ to ‘immigrants’ at the beginning of the film. Preceding the interval, scenes featuring Shah Rukh Khan‘s character Hardy riding a horse in uniform during his wedding were also ‘suitably’ modified. Additionally, an important scene now includes a statutory warning stating, “Suicide is not a solution to any problems.”
Dunki’s Runtime The Dunki team provided documentary evidence for the statistics and other facts mentioned at the end of the movie. The film was awarded a U/A certificate on December 15. According to the censor certificate, the reported length of Dunki is 161.24 minutes, translating to a runtime of 2 hours, 41 minutes, and 24 seconds.
