In “Dunki,” Taapsee Pannu takes on the role of Manu Randhawa, the female lead. The film, released on December 21, has elicited diverse reviews, showcasing Taapsee’s versatility and the anticipation surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s impactful presence in the narrative.
Taapsee Pannu, who recently shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in the film “Dunki,” revealed in a recent interview that she was initially star-struck by the Bollywood icon. Speaking about SRK’s meticulous working style, Taapsee highlighted that he rehearses each scene extensively until it becomes ingrained in his muscle memory.
In an interview with Connect FM Canada, Taapsee expressed, “Just like Bachchan sir, Shah Rukh sir loves to rehearse. He likes to rehearse a scene to the point that he is one with the dialogue and it becomes a part of his muscle memory. He is a theatre actor who became a film actor. So his way is more like going about rehearsing. And he is a trained actor also, so our methods are quite opposite.”
Taapsee admitted to being apprehensive about whether she would ever get another opportunity like this and was determined to make the most of it. She emphasized the rarity of a chance to work in a commercial film, especially a love story with Shah Rukh Khan, describing it as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.

This insight into Taapsee Pannu’s experience offers a glimpse into the dynamics of working alongside Shah Rukh Khan and the actor’s commitment to delivering his best performance.
